I graduated from the Statistics BS program in May of 2013. I moved up to Madison, Wisconsin in July and started working as Business Intelligence Developer for Epic (the electronic medical record vendor). The end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 have been filled with plenty of interesting and new challenges. Working for Epic presents with new experiences and problems every day which I am forced to think creatively to solve. Additionally, having grown up in warm summer climes, I have had to adapt to the harsh, snowy winters in Wisconsin in a pinch. Still, it's been a fun many months and I look forward to many more. I'm missing UGA and Athens greatly, but I'll come back to visit from time to time as my schedule allows. Type of News/Audience: Alumni
